McAlester Regional Air Care Expands Emergency Air Ambulance Access

McAlester Regional Air Care opens new operations in Eufaula, OK.
The new base will complement existing operations at McAlester Regional Health Center in McAlester, OK which have been in operation since 2015.

McAlester Regional Air Care currently has a Bell 407 rotor-wing air ambulance stationed at partner hospital McAlester Regional Health Center. A second Bell 407 will be added to the program in Eufaula, OK approximately 30 miles away. Both air ambulances, McAlester Regional Air Care I and McAlester Regional Air Care II, will work together to service McAlester Regional Health Center and surrounding communities by providing critical healthcare access to rural Oklahoma.

“Rural Oklahomans deserve critical care access at a moment’s notice,” said Korey Langston, Program Director for McAlester Regional Air Care’s new operation in Eufaula, OK. “The addition of this air ambulance will provide quicker response times to the communities we serve.
