The Reno community is invited to an open house to explore the new aircraft and meet the team.
REACH Air Medical Services (REACH) is thrilled to announce the addition of a new helicopter to its fleet, marking a significant enhancement to emergency medical services in Northern Nevada. This expansion underscores REACH's commitment to providing timely and life-saving air medical services to the community, particularly in emergencies where every second counts.

“The addition of this helicopter is more than just a new asset—it’s about increasing our ability to respond to medical emergencies swiftly and efficiently,” said REACH Regional Director Stacey Ingram. “Whether it’s reaching remote areas or expediting critical care transport, this helicopter is a vital resource for our region.”

To celebrate this milestone, REACH invites the public to an Open House on Monday, February 3.

Why Northern Nevada Needs Another Helicopter
Northern Nevada’s vast and diverse geography—ranging from rural communities to urban centers—makes air medical services a crucial lifeline for residents. The addition of the helicopter will enhance response times, provide greater coverage across the region, and ensure that more patients can receive life-saving care when it’s needed most.

“In emergencies, time is of the essence. This helicopter will help us reach patients faster and provide critical care en route to the hospital,” added Ingram. “Additionally, in the coming months we will be adding firefighting support with this new aircraft. We look forward to sharing more details soon.”

The Value of AMCN Membership
REACH is proud to be a provider in the AirMedCare Network (AMCN) membership program. Northern Nevada residents can purchase a household membership that eliminates financial concerns about the costs of air ambulance care only when transported by a network provider, like REACH. Membership coverage starts at $99 per year and eliminates concerns over insurance co-pays, coinsurance, deductibles or instances where insurance denies coverage. With an AMCN membership, patients and their families can focus on their health without worrying about unplanned bills when transported by a network provider, like REACH.

"Joining the AMCN membership program is one of the best ways to protect your family,” said Director of Membership Jeff Miller. “It’s an investment in financial peace of mind and ensures that cost is never a barrier to accessing critical care in Northern Nevada or anywhere in the 38 states where we have participating providers.”

A member of the AMCN membership team will be at the open house to answer questions. www.AMCNrep.com.
