Doug Jones

National Director of OPAP

With more than 32 years of experience, Doug Jones is a true veteran in the EMS industry. Doug started his career with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, but it was his volunteer work with the local fire department that sparked his passion for EMS. He soon went on to become an emergency medical technician (EMT) and then a paramedic, leaving his engineering job behind.

Throughout his career, Doug has held a variety of positions where he has consistently demonstrated his dedication and expertise. From his start as an EMT to paramedic, field training officer, field supervisor, administrative supervisor, operations manager, national director for OPAP (Operations Planning and Analytics Platform) to his current position as the vice president of analytics and operations research, Doug’s drive for quality service is clearly evident. His commitment and hard work have opened doors of opportunity and allowed him to excel in each role. Doug’s ability to form strong relationships with internal and external customers contributes to his success. He also cares deeply for his coworkers.
