After obtaining his EMT certification, Shane continued his education and became a paramedic in 1989.

Today, he is a valuable member of the GMR family, having served with the company for 34 years. Throughout his tenure, Shane has demonstrated remarkable versatility, holding various positions and excelling in each role. From his first role with the company as a paramedic, he has risen through the ranks, serving as a field training officer, operations supervisor, general manager of operations, regional director of operations to his current position, director of national events. And through all of these transitions, he attributes his success to his ability to build strong relationships, solve complex problems and persevere through challenges - skills he learned early in his career.
