Air Evac Lifeteam has a new home at the Natchitoches Regional Airport.
Air Evac Lifeteam has a new home at the Natchitoches Regional Airport. The air medical base was previously located in Winnfield. Jay Caskey, Program Director for the Air Eva Lifeteam base, said Natchitoches is more centrally located.
“We are excited to be at the Natchitoches Regional Airport,” Caskey said. “We went into service at our new home on November 2. This new location puts us in the middle of our service area, and allows us to provide care at a moment’s notice. We’d like to thank the Natchitoches Regional Airport and everyone who has made this transition seamless.”
The Air Evac Lifeteam base is one of four Air Evac bases in the state of Louisiana. There are also Air Evac locations in Rayville, Opelousas and Kinder. Each Air Evac Lifeteam location serves patients within a 70-mile radius.
