AMR is with NASCAR to honor members of the United States Armed Forces, veterans, first responders and their families through NASCAR Salutes Refreshed by Coca-Cola.
American Medical Response (AMR), part of the Global Medical Response (GMR) family of companies, is partnering once again with NASCAR to honor members of the United States Armed Forces, veterans, first responders and their families through NASCAR Salutes Refreshed by Coca-Cola. As part of the events, AMR will display the Salutes branding on NASCAR safety trucks and safety team helmets.

"We are proud to pay tribute to the American heroes who have served and are currently serving our country in the United States Armed Forces and on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic over the last 15 months," said GMR Chief Operating Officer Ted Van Horne. "GMR and our family of companies offer veterans wonderful opportunities to continue their careers of service, and we encourage veterans to consider a career in ground or air EMS or in the fire service.”

GMR companies include: AMR, Air Evac Lifeteam, AirMed International, Guardian Flight, Med-Trans Corporation, REACH Air Medical Services, and Rural Metro Fire.

“We recognize the unique skills that veterans bring to an organization, and GMR companies provide great benefits and career advancement opportunities for our more than 38,000 employees across the country,” Van Horne said.

Jack Le is a REACH Air Medical Services pilot and a veteran of the United States Army. “Military flight training and officer school gave me basic aviation training and also leadership and interpersonal skills to work with people from diverse backgrounds,” said Le. “Every day, as an EMS Pilot, I feel like my military experience has helped me do my job. The military gave me a can-do attitude, the confidence to meet challenges, and the ability to work in small teams to accomplish difficult tasks. I find that the military and EMS are very similar in that you often have to make personal sacrifices in service of the greater good.”

AMR is the “Official Emergency Medical Services Partner of NASCAR” and will continue supporting NASCAR Salutes through the conclusion of the campaign on May 30.
