REACH's Stacey Ingram has been recognized for providing exceptional support to members of the National Guard.
Stacey Ingram, program director for REACH Air Medical Services (REACH), has been awarded the Patriot Award by Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), a U.S. Department of Defense office. The award recognizes individual supervisors and managers who provide exceptional support to employees serving in the National Guard or Reserve, or the spouse of a Guard or Reserve member.
Rafael Lara, a flight paramedic with REACH, a Global Medical Response solution, and member of the Army National Guard, nominated Ingram for the award. "I have yet to meet a more compassionate and supportive director," said Lara. "Stacey deserves recognition for the hard work she displays as a leader and supportive manager. She goes above and beyond for everyone on our team and never hesitates to accommodate my schedule to allow for drills and training.”
Ingram's efforts to support Lara include offering a flexible schedule, time off prior to and after deployment, allowing time to care for personal and family needs and granting leaves of absence if needed.
"Stacey’s recognition with the Patriot Award highlights the importance of supporting those who serve in the National Guard or Reserve,” said Tom Liebman, vice president of operations at Global Medical Response. “We are honored to have both Stacey and Rafael as members of our team and are proud of the impact Stacey has on the lives of her team members.”
ESGR was established in 1972 to promote cooperation and understanding between Reserve Component Service members and their civilian employers and to assist in the resolution of conflicts arising from an employee's military commitment.
