Rural Metro Fire Appoints New Chief for Arizona

New Fire Chief to Oversee Pima County, Central Arizona and Yuma Operations
(Scottsdale, Ariz.) — Rural Metro Fire is pleased to announce the appointment of Brian Davis as Fire Chief for its Arizona operations, effective December 1, 2019. Chief Davis will provide operational leadership and management of Rural Metro's Pima County, central Arizona, and Yuma departments.
"We are proud to welcome Chief Brian Davis," said Ted Beam, chief of administration for Rural Metro Fire. "His extensive career in the fire service and public safety make him an invaluable asset to Rural Metro Fire. We are confident that through his leadership, our teams will continue to deliver the outstanding level of service the residents of our communities expect."
Chief Davis is concluding a three-year tenure as the Fire Chief for the Lake Havasu City Fire Department in Lake Havasu, Ariz. He is a 22-year veteran of the fire service with experience as Fire Chief, Deputy Chief, and Lieutenant. Chief Davis has a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Safety from Siena Heights University. He has also served as a State Trooper with the Michigan State Police, a Correctional Officer with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, and is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
