Nation Prepares to Mark 21st Anniversary of 9/11
9.8.2022
Planning is underway for memorial services, volunteer events and other ceremonies to remember the loss and heroism experienced more than two decades ago.
All across the nation, final touches are being made to recognize one of the darkest days in our nation’s history, 9/11. While the suffering and courage that took place that day will never be forgotten, many Americans are choosing to focus less on the attacks and more on the continued strength, perseverance and resilience of the U.S in the face of incredible tragedy.
This year, 9/11, Patriot Day or September 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance will be honored in ways that rekindle the spirt of unity that arose in the aftermath of that day.
