Tito Villanueva, Navy Veteran

Being part of a team that works toward a common goal is important for Tito Villanueva. Tito is an Operations Manager for AMR in Kauai. Teamwork is something Tito learned during his time as a Navy Corpsman.

During his four years of military service, Tito served as a medic in Honduras and the Philippines providing physical exams, distributing medication and working with hospital staff to deliver patient care. Tito explained the work he did in the military helped prepare him for his career with AMR.

“Being part of a team that works toward a common goal of caring for patients is what initially made me interested in a career with AMR,” Tito said. “My time in the military gave me the foundation and discipline I needed to work in the EMS profession,” he added.

As part of the AMR team in Kauai, Tito gets the opportunity to do something he loves and provides opportunities he never thought would be possible.
