Meet Amy Jo Wess, a dedicated EMS professional for more than 16 years.

Amy Jo was drawn to the EMS field while working as an ER nurse. Her experience in trauma and critical care nursing ignited a passion for the challenging and intense care delivery that comes with working in the flight environment. It was a desire for autonomy and the opportunity to make a difference that led her to embark on this extraordinary path.

Throughout her career, Amy Jo has taken on vital roles within the GMR family serving as a flight nurse and base medical manager at Life Flight Anderson, SC, as well as with Med-Trans One in Greenville, SC. She understands the importance of intuition, flexibility and adaptability, which she acquired early in her career. These skills continue to be invaluable assets in the demanding world of EMS, ensuring that she provides the highest level of care to critical patients.
