Jeffrey Birrer

Jeffrey Birrer started his career in emergency medical services (EMS) more than 30 years ago to pay for medical school. However, his passion for providing care to those in need led him to stay and excel in various roles within EMS.

Jeffrey has held roles as a paramedic, field training officer (FTO), supervisor and currently serves as a paramedic crew chief. He credits his successful career to his adeptness at gathering crucial information through meaningful interactions with patients, families and bystanders, highlighting the profound impact of genuine communication in healthcare.
