Mark Leggett has dedicated more than 35 years to the field of emergency medical services (EMS). His journey in EMS began with a defining childhood experience where he had to care for a critically-injured victim alongside his father until EMS arrived following a motor vehicle crash in the remote Texas Hill country.
From serving as a paramedic at AMR Hawaii to serving as a flight paramedic, base manager, clinical educator, clinical manager and regional program director, to now serving as the director of service delivery at Hawaii Life Flight, his commitment to patient care and team support has been unwavering.
Mark strongly believes in the transformative impact of attentive listening, trust-building and customized support for the unique needs of patients, families, colleagues and communities. His dedication to advocating for the well-being of patients and team support is a testament to his commitment to fostering a compassionate and inclusive healthcare environment for all.
