William “Paul” Cross’s venture into the world of emergency medical services (EMS) was sparked by a simple newspaper ad seeking EMTs more than 17 years ago. Little did he know that this chance encounter would shape his career path and lead him to where he is today.

Paul has served as an emergency medical technician (EMT), paramedic, field training officer, instructor and now thrives as a flight paramedic. Throughout his experience in EMS, he has gained invaluable insight into the significance of empathy and maintaining a composed demeanor to facilitate clear thinking and adept management of unforeseeable circumstances.
